Lemon Grass Kitchen

Tri Dey Mayer of Lemon Grass Kitchen

"Enjoy the Freshness —
Celebrate the Difference."

Last night I met with Tri Dey Mayer, the wife of John Mayer (the author of the CityView Report) to start work on a new logo for her cateringbusinesss, the Lemon Grass Kitchen.

Tri Dey (pronounced: Tree-Day) was born and raised in Indonesia (affected by last year's Tsunami) and was "born again" later in life. She and John have been married...8 years? (Sorry John if I'm way off.) And now she runs a very yummy catering business. (Tri Deyoccasionallyy feeds me when I'm there.)

The Lemon Grass Kitchen has been in business for a while now. Each year it grows little by little. Hopefully, if the Lord sees fit, her labor of love will take off. She is sooo talented. Tri Dey initially started off with her native Indonesian food, but has since expanded globally and now does "American and International Cuisine." She can do it all!

Anyway, 2 weeks from now, I'll meet with her again to go over several logo options that I'll produce. I'm really excited to start working with her and her business. She is very friendly and has a fun personality.

I hope all is well with everyone and enjoy your weekend!

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
"You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did." —Acts 7:51

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
A Stephen has been falsely accused and is on trial, he is condemning his accusers of not obeying God the Father and falling into the same sinc as their descendants the Israelites did after God delivered them from Egypt. So basically, the accusers claim to be following God but they are not listening to God's commands ("the Holy Spirit") and going their own way ("just as your fathers did").

I do this all the time. I need to give up my way and liten to the Holy Spirit.

BE IN PRAYER FOR:
THE UNREACHED PEOPLE IN THE TWIN CITIES

  • The Twin Cities has the largest Hmong, Somali, and Oromo (Ethiopian) populations in the U.S. and the second largest Tibetan and Liberian concentrations.
  • There is only 1 Somali church in the U.S. and it happens to be in the Twin Cities. There is no Tibetan church in the U.S. and only a few in the world.
  • The University of Minnesota has the largest Chinese student population in the United States.
