Ezekiel 16:6

Thursday, July 5th, 2007/Ezekiel chapters 16–20

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
"When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you while you were in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you while you were in your blood, 'Live!'" —Ezekiel 16:6

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
For whatever reason, there is a misconception that non-believers need to "clean ourselves up" before they seek God. Which is an ironic statement since it is impossible to "clean ourselves up" without God. Thats one of the great attributes of our heavenly Father. He loves us while we are in our sin. Once we have been saved through God's grace, we are no longer slaves to sin, an dbecause of God, we are washed white as snow! So if you haven't yet been saved from your sin, don't try and clean yourself, go directly to God!
