Isaiah 30:1–26

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007/Isaiah chapter 30:1–26

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
Isaiah 30:1–26

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
I like how these 26 verses break down the process of sin to redemption.

  • 1–11 The people sin against God.
  • 12–17 God punishes the people for their sin.
  • 18 God wants the people to turn from their sin so that he may be "gracious" and "compassionate" toward them.
  • 19–20 The people repent and God promises to answer them.
  • 21–22 The people's hearts are right and now they will listen to God's instruction (contrast verses 9–11).
  • 25–26 The people now hear and obey the Lord and He helps and redeems them.
