Isaiah 47:10
Wednesday, June 13th, 2007/Isaiah chapters 47–50
GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
"You felt secure in your wickedness and said, 'No one sees me,' Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have deluded you; For you have said in your heart, 'I am, and there is no one besides me.' —Isaiah 47:10
HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
When we willingly sin, do we buy into the lie that if it doesn't affect others or if I get away with it, it's ok? What about when we think we are smarter than God in that we know what's best for us? And finally, as much as I deny it, I want to think that the world revolves around me and my happiness. I am guilty of all these things.
