Change is Good?

With me staying at STEM, I need to put some effort into support raising. My goal is to tackle the financial aspect of staying at STEM so Erin can concentrate on baby duties. (Get it, baby doodies?) Sorry. Anyway, so I am modifying the look of the blog and will have it coincide with the look of our prayer letter. This will be an ongoing process but the big changes have been done. Eventually I hope to have the colors fine tuned as well as a progress bar on how much monthly support we need to raise.

If you would like to get on our mailing list, please email Erin or I and we'll be sure to send a letter out to you when it's completed. In the meantime, please, please, please pray for us in this area. Thanks everyone!

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him. 1 Chronicles 5:20b

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
I like how God answered their prayers not just becuase they prayed, but "because they trusted in Him." I wonder how often I pray all the while not really trusting the Lord.

BONUS!
Did you know that the '80s cartoon character He-Man, is in the Bible? Yep, exept "Hollywood" changed him. Here are the differences:

  • "Hollywood" He-Man
  • • Master of the Universe
  • • Appointed by the Sorceress
  • • Son of King Randor
  • • Served in Eternia
  • • Sister named Adora (She-Ra)
Coincidence? I don't think so... ;)
