Serving Sevenlight
This week at STEM, our web host is visiting to see what needs, both immediate and future, STEM has. Our web hosts comes in the form of a human named Andrew "Percy" Hanna and he represents his company, Sevenlight.
Last night Erin and I took Percy out (on STEM of course) to eat at Chili's. I can imagine for those of you who have jobs which require networking with others outside of the office, it can be a little uncomfortable talking with people you don't know. Luckily that wasn't the case for us.
Percy is a self described computer nerd who spends his day working in code. (Now if you don't know what that means...umm...picture the movie The Matrix with the green numbers/letters.) Anyway, he is a Christian in his mid 20s, married, and hails from our neighbor to the north, Canada...eh.
It was fun just hanging out with him and talking Sci-Fi, hockey, family, and how Canada's health care system is superior to the States'. After our conversation, Canada sure does look appealing. :)
Some of you may have heard the tragic news, MARVEL's Captain America has been assassinated! Why!!! If you ask me any writer can kill a comic book character but to create one as timeless as the Cap was is another story. Although, knowing the history of comic books, it will only be a matter of time before Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, is resurrected. If you want more info, click here.
In somewhat related news... according to my poll, out of the 10 who voted, 5 of you are looking forward to seeing Spider-Man 3 the most this summer. Below is a 7.5 minute clip of the movie. I was really impressed with what I saw and it ended with me craving more!
And Finally...
Be sure to check out the updated poll concerning who would win in a fight between Superman and the Hulk! It's sure to be a battle. (If you feel really passionate about one side or the other, I will allow multiple voting!)

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
"Now behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of any skill will be with you in all the work for all kinds of service. The officials also and all the people will be entirely at your command." —1 Chronicles 28:21
HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
A great example of the body of Christ working together. (Yes I realize Christ hasn't officially arrived on the scene but I think you know what I mean.) All God wants are "willing" people of "any skill" livel to join in completing His work. Different people have different skills and taht's the way it's supposed to hbe. The key is to be willing to oby God's leading.
For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. —1 Corinthians 12:12
