Here's the latest on Aunt Opy. This was taken from an email Erin received from her mom De yesterday:

Don't know if Dad told you that Aunt Opy had been in the hospital again this weekend. Had to have 2 plasma transfusions and 2 blood transfusions. She has been bleeding internally somewhere. They just aren't sure where. they have taken her off the blood thinner and are hoping that it will take care of the problem. She was able to come home yesterday. They are going to have to wait and see if she can have her next treatment on Thursday.

We'll keep praying for you Aunt Opy!

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007/2 Kings chapters 24 & 25

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes and had his meals in the king's presence regularly all the days of his life; and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life. 2 Kings 25:29 & 30

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
When I first read this, I thought how cool it would be to have an allowance and eat with a king everyday and never have to worry about how to put food on the table. But then I remembered these two passages:

"But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. —Matthew 6:30–32

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. —Philippians 4:6
