Tuesday, January 16th, 2007/Joshua chapters 9-11
NOTE: Like yesterday, I'm posting the chapters I read the day before. Today I'm doing it because chapters 13-21 talk about the dividing up of the promised land to the Israelites.
GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
Joshua then said to them, "Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies with whom you fight." —Joshua 10:25
HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
In verse eight, the Lord encouraged Joshua not to fear. Now , after the Lords promised was fulfilled, Joshua encourages the Israelites. We must also encourage others when the Lord has encrouaged us. The Christian journey is a battle which we all fight and we all need to recharged with God's good news.
