Isaiah 3:24 & 25
Thursday, May 24th, 2007/Isaiah chapters 2–4
GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
Now it will come about that instead of sweet perfume there will be putrefaction; Instead of a belt, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, a plucked-out scalp; Instead of fine clothes, a donning of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty. Your men will fall by the sword And your mighty ones in battle. —Isaiah 3:24 & 25
HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
What are we putting our trust in? Possesions, which can be taken away? People who will eventually let us down? Ourselves who are dependant on so many things? Or God who is...well...God?
