Proverbs 29:12

Thursday, May 17th, 2007/Proverbs chapters 28–31

GOD'S MESSAGE FOR ME TODAY
Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18

HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO MY LIFE?
The sterotype of keeping God's law is one of constraint and having to miss out on all the fun that those who don't follow God are having. But contrary to what the world says, those "fun" things end up leaving you more empty inside. A temporary high if you will. But the one thing that will never dissapoint or let us down is following and obeying Christ. The verse even says when we obey God's commands we will be happy!
